Chronicle of an Unquiet Age

This body of work began in January 2020 as an ongoing visual historical record of political, social, and economic events in the

United States and around the World.

Artist Cynthia Warden, working under the name

"The Real Time Artist," has created more than

150 original oil paintings on canvas at two-week intervals, building a living historical archive

one painting at a time.

Together, these works function as a time capsule, snapshots in time of an era defined by

disruption, contradiction, and constant change.

One continuous chronology. Each work is dated and numbered in sequence, creating an uninterrupted visual record of history as it unfolded.
